A Closer Look at the MiniMed™ 780G System.

The MiniMed™ 780G System is an automated insulin delivery system designed to combine insulin pump delivery with continuous glucose monitoring information and SmartGuard™ technology.

When SmartGuard™ technology is active, the system uses sensor glucose information to evaluate insulin needs and automatically adjust insulin delivery every five minutes. The system can increase, reduce, or pause insulin delivery according to glucose information and system settings.

The system also includes automatic correction support that can provide correction insulin when specific system conditions are met. Compatible connected options can support access to pump and glucose information on supported devices.
